On the corner of B and 5th, just a few blocks from my home, this little white church was where Robin Williams got married in the movie “Flubber.” I pass by this church everyday and for these past few days, all I can think of is the wonderful man who touched millions with his comedy and dramatic roles. Thank you for all the adventures growing up #RobinWilliams #restinpeace

I recently learned that we raised $6,531 for One Fund Boston, the charity for the victims of and families affected by the Boston Marathon bombings, with the Avatar/Korra art auction at the Montserrat College of Art in May! THANK YOU to everyone who bought the prints, everyone who bid on them, and all the great folks at Montserrat who worked hard to make the art show and fundraiser a reality. I am deeply moved by your generosity for a great cause.

I love playing Brienne of Tarth because, when I was growing up, I didn’t really see people on television that I felt that I could identify with. Women all looked kind of a particular way, women characters that were popular, anyway. And when I had the opportunity to play this part, it made me explore the parts of myself I had hidden from. I had very long hair. I wanted to look very feminine, really tall. (x)

I MAKED THESE

Fun fact: my mum had her gall bladder removed a month ago. When I found that comic I emailed it to her. It made her laugh, it made her consultant laugh, and she put it at the front of her medical folder for her hospital stay.

I don’t think I’ve ever felt sadder for a gall bladder in all my life.
